Dr. Kyle Rundles is a clinical psychologist specializing in adolescent and adult mental health, as well as couples therapy. Her therapeutic approach explores how ideas of self and the world have formed and she works with clients towards reframing these ideas to create personal meaning. She believes strongly that society has a profound impact on mental health and individual concerns do not exist in a vacuum. In therapeutic work with Dr. Rundles, clients have the opportunity to explore, acknowledge, and rework the impact that society has had on their wellbeing.
Dr. Rundles is drawn to narrative therapy and personal storytelling. She has a flexible, warm style to best fit client needs, including using solution-focused and cognitive behavioral techniques. Her professional areas of interest include identity, adjustment, international psychology, anxiety, relationships, multicultural issues, depression, trauma, and community psychology. She has a particular passion for working with societal concerns, 'otherness,' issues related to young adulthood, as well as trauma and identity work.
Dr. Rundles completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a focus on International Psychology and Human Rights. She has worked with adolescents and adults at several university counseling centers, as well as day programs and community mental health centers. She completed her predoctoral internship at Metropolitan State University of Denver and her postdoctoral fellowship at Tufts University. She was a staff psychologist at Emerson College Counseling and Psychological Services for six years and Associate Director of the center for one year.
Dr. Rundles believes in the rights of every person to reach their full potential, and welcomes clients of all ethnicities, races, religions, sexual/gender/relational identities and cultural experiences.
